Nothing you have published breaks. Product boxes keep rendering, links keep their tag, settings stay saved. What pauses is the tooling — AI, Analytics and the Growth Tools — and it resumes the moment a valid key is entered.
In one lineA lapse is a pause on the tools, never a deletion of your work. The site keeps earning exactly as before.
Three ways access can stop
Access is granted if the licence is valid or there is trial time left. So it can stop for three different reasons, and they show different messages:

All three say the same thing about your content, because all three do the same thing to it: nothing.
What pauses
The locked set is defined explicitly in the plugin rather than inferred, and it covers roughly four dozen actions. Grouped:

What never pauses
- Every shortcode. Product boxes, comparison tables, bestseller lists, floating bars, tickers and text links all render exactly as before.
- Your affiliate links. They keep the partner tag and keep earning. This is the part that matters most and it is never affected.
- Everything already published. No post is unpublished, hidden or altered.
- Your configuration. Settings, Amazon credentials, partner tag, marketplace and AI provider keys all stay saved and are waiting when you return.
- Analytics collection. Clicks and visits carry on being recorded — it is the reporting screens that lock, not the counting.
What the Ultra agent does when a licence lapses
The agent is the one feature that runs with nobody watching, so it has its own gate at the top of the heartbeat rather than only on the admin buttons. Without that it would carry on planning, writing and spending your AI budget for months after a licence ended.
When the heartbeat finds the licence inactive it stops and says so plainly. The Agent Team board is cleared once and the coordinator reports:
Paused — the licence is not active. No planning, writing or spending happens until it is.
The activity log records Agent paused: licence inactive. All work stopped.
The board is cleared deliberately. An earlier version simply stopped, which left cards frozen mid-job reading “writing…” and “researching…” — a log claiming work was in progress that nothing was doing. Clearing it once is the honest signal. Approved tasks are not thrown away; the queue resumes when the licence does.
You get warned first
A 365-day licence shows a renewal reminder fifteen days before it lapses, so an expiry is never the first you hear of it. Lifetime keys never expire and never show the reminder.
If the licence server cannot be reached, nothing is locked — a network failure is treated as a network failure, not as an invalid licence: Could not reach the licence server. Check your connection and try again — nothing has been locked.
Common questions
Will my product boxes disappear from published posts?
No. Shortcode rendering is not licence-gated at all. Every box, table and link on every published page keeps working indefinitely, with or without a key.
Do I lose my analytics history?
No. Collection continues and the stored data stays. Only the reporting screens and CSV export lock, and both come back with everything intact when you reactivate.
What happens to scheduled refreshes and bulk jobs?
They stop running rather than failing loudly. Nothing in the queue is deleted — it resumes when a valid key is entered.
Is reactivating a fresh setup?
No. Enter the key and everything picks up where it left off, because none of your settings or data were removed in the first place.
