Who wrote this. We make Ama Affiliate Pro, which is the second column of the grid below. We are not neutral and there is no point pretending to be. What each one is, and who should buy it
AAWP
A WordPress plugin for displaying Amazon products — product boxes, comparison tables, bestseller lists and data fields, driven by Amazon’s Product Advertising API. It has been the default answer to “how do I put an Amazon box in a post” for the best part of a decade, and it is very good at that specific job.
Choose it if: you already have Amazon API credentials and a workflow you like.
Lasso
A subscription service with a WordPress plugin attached. It manages affiliate links across every programme you belong to — not just Amazon — cloaks and organises them, renders product displays and tables, watches for links that have broken or gone out of stock, and reports on which pages and links earn. It is a link-and-revenue layer for a site that monetises through several networks.
Choose it if: you earn from more than one affiliate programme and want them managed together.
AmaLinks Pro
A WordPress plugin for building Amazon product displays — text links, image links, call-to-action buttons, showcase boxes and comparison tables — with a long-standing focus on being usable by affiliates who do not have Product Advertising API access. Its pitch has always been “get products into your post without fighting Amazon for credentials first”.
Choose it if: you want product displays and nothing else.
AzonPress
A WordPress plugin for Amazon affiliates built around product tables and boxes, with geo-targeting for international readers and click tracking built in. It comes from a developer with a portfolio of well-built WordPress products, and it is the closest thing in this pack to a like-for-like alternative on the display and tracking side.
Choose it if: Your content is built around product tables above all else.
Content Egg
A WordPress plugin that pulls product data from a very large number of affiliate networks and marketplaces — Amazon among many others — and renders price comparisons, product lists and offers from all of them together. Its defining characteristic is the sheer number of sources it supports, which makes it the standard answer for price-comparison and deal sites.
Choose it if: Your site compares prices across several merchants.
EasyAzon
One of the original Amazon affiliate plugins for WordPress. Its purpose is speed of link creation — insert an Amazon link without leaving the editor, with localisation for international readers and pop-up product information — and for a long stretch it was the standard answer for anyone who wanted to stop copying URLs out of Amazon by hand.
Choose it if: Your bottleneck is the speed of inserting a link while writing.
ThirstyAffiliates
A link management plugin for WordPress. It stores every affiliate link you use as a tidy internal URL on your own domain, lets you insert them by name while writing, redirects them out to the merchant, and reports on clicks. It is programme-agnostic — Amazon links are simply one kind of link it holds — and it is the standard answer for “my affiliate URLs are a mess”.
Choose it if: you have affiliate links from several programmes spread across a lot of posts.
AI article writers
A category rather than a single product — Koala, Cuppa, Journalist, Byword and a dozen others. You give them a keyword; they research it, write a well-structured article, often pull in Amazon products, and hand back something publishable. Several of them are genuinely good at this and produce output that stands up next to a competent human draft.
Choose it if: Writing volume is your only bottleneck and everything else is handled.
Three questions that settle it faster than the grid
1. How many affiliate programmes do you earn from?
If the answer is more than one and the others are not trivial, you want a multi-network tool — Lasso for link management and revenue attribution, or Content Egg if your pages compare prices across merchants. An Amazon-first plugin, ours included, is the wrong shape for that site and will feel like it within a month.
2. Do you have Amazon API access, and can you get it?
Amazon generally wants qualifying sales before granting Product Advertising API credentials, and you need a working site to make those sales. If you do not have access, that single row rules out anything that requires it — check it first, because it decides more new-site purchases than any other line in the grid.
3. Is your problem publishing, or is it everything after publishing?
If nothing is being written, buy the best writing tool you can find; several dedicated AI writers are better at prose than any plugin. If the site is already large and you have stopped knowing what is in it — which products are dead, which posts have traffic and no affiliate link, which articles nothing links to — then a resident tool that audits the site is the purchase, and a writing tool will not touch any of it.

What is the best Amazon affiliate plugin for WordPress?
There is no single answer, and any page that gives you one is selling something. It depends on three things: how many affiliate programmes you earn from, whether you have Amazon API access, and whether your bottleneck is writing or maintenance. The three questions on this page resolve most cases in about a minute.
Which Amazon affiliate plugin works without API access?
Ama Affiliate Pro has an explicit three-source chain — your own Amazon Creators API credentials when you have them, a third-party data provider when you do not, and a free public-page mode as a last resort. AmaLinks Pro has long been positioned around not requiring the API. Check the current position of any other plugin yourself, because this specific answer changes.
Do I need a plugin at all?
No. Everything an Amazon affiliate site needs can be done by hand: links typed out, tables written in HTML, products checked manually. A plugin buys you time and consistency, and on a site with fewer than about thirty posts it may buy you less than it costs.
Can I use more than one of these?
