Ama Affiliate Pro: The Trial, the Refund, and What the Licence Covers

Buying guide

You get 44 days to decide, not 14 — here is exactly how that works

What the card hold is for, when the first charge lands, how the 30-day refund is actually claimed, and what one licence key does and does not cover.

The short version

  • Nothing is charged for 14 days. A payment method is required to start the trial, but the first charge falls on day 15.
  • After that you still have 30 days to ask for the money back, with no reason required. That is 44 days in total before a purchase is genuinely final.
  • Cancelling and refunding are different things. Cancelling stops the next payment; refunding returns the one already taken.
  • One key unlocks one product on the sites your plan allows — and you move it between your own sites yourself, from a button in the plugin.

Most of what people want to know before buying a plugin is not in the feature list. It is the money: when the card is actually charged, what happens if it turns out to be wrong for your site, and what you are allowed to do with the licence afterwards.

This page answers only those questions. If you have already bought and want the install steps, the setup guide covers order through to a working Amazon connection.

The 44 days before a purchase is final

Two separate windows run back to back, and almost everyone only knows about the first one.

HOW LONG YOU ACTUALLY HAVE FREE TRIAL Days 0–14 · nothing charged FIRST CHARGE Day 15 30-DAY REFUND WINDOW Days 15–45 · ask and it is returned Day 0 You start the trial Day 14 Last free day Day 15 — card charged Day 45 Purchase is final Cancel in the green stretch and you pay nothing. Ask in the blue stretch and you get the payment back.
The two windows run back to back. Most buying pages only mention the first one.

The trial is the whole product, not a cut-down demo — the AI writer, product boxes, comparison tables and the dead-product monitor all work during it. The refund window then exists for the case the trial cannot cover: the problems you only find after a month of real use.

What you actually pay

Every plan carries every feature. What changes is how long the licence lasts and how many sites it covers, so the choice is about your setup rather than your feature list.

Plan Sites Price Pick it if…
Monthly 1 $9.99 / month You want the lowest commitment and cancel-any-time.
Yearly 1 $59.99 / year You are staying past two months. This is the one most people want.
Agency 5 $129.99 / year You run several sites, or build them for clients.
Lifetime 1 $199.99 once You never want to see another invoice. See the note below first.
Enterprise Unlimited Quoted You need features built to your specification.

Prices above are the current Ama Affiliate Pro rates, checked in August 2026. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, and card, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay are all accepted.

On the Lifetime plan, the pricing page argues against itself. It says outright that on current numbers the yearly plan is cheaper for the first several years, and that Lifetime is only worth it if you truly never want another invoice. That is worth taking at face value: at $199.99 against $59.99 a year, Lifetime takes over three years to break even.

Why a free trial still asks for a card

The card is authorised, not charged. It confirms the payment method works so the subscription can continue automatically on day 15 without a second checkout.

This surprises people, and it is worth being blunt about: there is no card-free trial. Anyone telling you otherwise is describing a different product. What you get instead is a genuinely free 14 days, and then a refund window if the first charge turns out to be a mistake.

Activate your licence key the day it arrives. The billing clock starts at checkout, but the plugin unlocks its AI features when the key is activated inside WordPress. Leave the key sitting in your inbox for a week and you have spent a week of a paid subscription on a plugin that is not switched on.

The 30-day refund, and how to actually claim it

If you are charged and the plugin still is not right, you have 30 days from that charge to ask for the money back. No form, no reason required. “I changed my mind” is accepted in the same way as “it broke something”.

To claim it, email hello@amawp.com or use the chat window on any page and say you would like a refund. Include the address you paid with so the order can be found. That is the whole process.

  • Processed within one working day of your message, usually sooner.
  • The money follows your bank’s timeline — typically five to ten working days for a card. That part is the bank’s clock, not amawp’s.
  • Your licence key stops working when the refund is issued, and any site it was activated on is released automatically.
  • Nothing you published is deleted. Articles, product boxes and comparison tables the plugin created stay exactly as they are.

Two narrow exceptions are worth knowing rather than discovering. A repeat refund on the same product gets a conversation first rather than an automatic third transaction. And buying a licence, distributing the plugin files or the key, then requesting a refund is declined — that one is about licence abuse, not about whether the plugin suited you. The full wording is on the refund policy page.

Cancelling and refunding are not the same thing

These get confused constantly, and picking the wrong one costs money.

CANCEL Stops the next payment You keep the licence until the period you already paid for runs out. Where: your billing portal, linked in every receipt email. One click. REFUND Returns the payment already taken The licence ends immediately and the site slot is released. Where: one message, by email or chat, within 30 days of the charge.
If you have just been charged and do not want the plugin, asking for a refund is the one that returns money. Cancelling alone does not.

Cancelling is the right move when the plugin is working for you but you do not want it to renew next year. Refunding is the right move when a payment has just landed and the plugin is not what you needed.

What one licence key actually covers

Two rules decide everything here.

One key activates one product. A Pro key never unlocks Ultra and an Ultra key never unlocks Pro — they are sold and licensed separately. If you want the autonomous agent, you need an Ultra key, not an upgrade flag on a Pro one.

One key covers the sites your plan allows. Activating a site uses one slot. Reinstalling on a site that already holds a slot never consumes a second.

🔑 Activation ACTIVE Licence key AAP2-••••-••••-•••• Plan Yearly licence Sites used 1 of 1 this key covers one site Valid until 14 August 2027 348 days left Deactivate on this site
The Activation screen states the position plainly — which plan, how many slots are in use, and when it expires.

Moving a licence is a button, not a support ticket. Open Activation on the site you are leaving, press Deactivate on this site, and the slot frees immediately. Activate the same key on the new site straight after. Useful when you are moving to a new domain, building on staging, or selling a site.

Pro and Ultra do not share a ladder

This one is easy to get wrong, because the plan names are identical across both products while the site allowances are not.

Plan Sites on Pro Sites on Ultra
Monthly 1 1
Yearly 1 2
Agency 5 5
Lifetime 1 3
Enterprise Unlimited Unlimited

Ultra’s Yearly and Lifetime plans carry more sites than their Pro equivalents. If you run two sites and were about to buy two Pro Yearly licences, a single Ultra Yearly covers both — and adds the agent. The Pro versus Ultra comparison covers what the agent actually does.

What happens if you simply stop paying

Nothing you published breaks. Product boxes, comparison tables, the health monitor, link localisation and shortcodes keep working, and your pages keep earning. The AI writing, Analytics and Growth Tools lock until a key is active again.

That is the deliberate design, and what happens to your links when the trial ends goes through it in detail. The short version: your content is yours, and it is never held hostage.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a card to start the free trial?

Yes. A payment method is required to start the 14-day trial. It is authorised rather than charged, and the first payment falls on day 15. Cancel before then and you pay nothing.

How long do I really have to change my mind?

44 days. Fourteen free trial days, then 30 days from the first charge in which you can ask for a full refund with no reason required.

How do I get a refund?

Email hello@amawp.com or use the chat window on any page within 30 days of being charged, and include the address you paid with. No form and no reason needed. Refunds are processed within one working day; the money then follows your bank’s timeline, typically five to ten working days for a card.

Is cancelling the same as asking for a refund?

No. Cancelling stops future payments and leaves your licence running until the period you already paid for ends. A refund returns the payment already taken and ends the licence immediately. If you have just been charged and do not want the plugin, ask for the refund.

How many sites does one licence cover?

On Pro: one site on Monthly, Yearly and Lifetime, five on Agency, unlimited on Enterprise. Ultra differs on two rungs — its Yearly covers two sites and its Lifetime covers three.

Can I move my licence to a different site?

Yes, and you do it yourself. Open the Activation tab on the old site and press Deactivate on this site, which frees the slot immediately, then activate the same key on the new one.

Does a Pro key work on Ultra?

No. One key activates one product. A Pro key never unlocks Ultra and an Ultra key never unlocks Pro — they are sold and licensed separately.

What happens to my published pages if the licence lapses?

They keep working. Product boxes, comparison tables, the health monitor, link localisation and shortcodes all continue. Only the AI writing, Analytics and Growth Tools lock until a key is active again.

Fourteen free days, then thirty more to change your mind

Every plan includes every feature. Nothing is charged until day 15, and if it still is not right after that, one message gets your money back.
